Beavers Visit Keele Observatory
Recently, our Beavers enjoyed an exciting evening visit to Keele Observatory. The young scouts had the chance to explore the night sky and learn more about space, planets, and stars.
During the visit, the Beavers were shown around the observatory and learned how astronomers use telescopes to study objects far beyond Earth. They heard fascinating facts about the solar system and the wider universe, and asked lots of great questions.
The highlight of the evening was looking through the observatory’s powerful telescopes. Despite the chilly weather, everyone was excited to see bright stars and distant objects with their own eyes.
It was a fantastic experience for the Beavers, sparking curiosity about space and science. A big thank you to the volunteers at Keele Observatory for hosting such an interesting and memorable visit.
We hope it has inspired some future astronomers!
