22nd Stoke Scouts Introduces Archery at HQ

Date: 7th Mar 2026 Author: Dave Dowley

We’re excited to announce that 22nd Stoke Scout Group now offers archery sessions at our headquarters! 🏹

Archery is an exciting skill that helps young people develop focus, patience, coordination, and confidence. By introducing archery at our HQ, we’re giving our members the opportunity to learn a new skill in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.

Sessions are led by qualified leaders and follow UK Scouts safety guidance, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the activity while learning proper technique and responsibility on the range.

Archery will be available as part of our programme across the group, giving Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts the chance to experience something a little different during their time with us. For many young people this will be their first time picking up a bow, and we’re looking forward to seeing them build confidence and skill as they take aim.

Adding archery to our HQ activities is part of our ongoing commitment to providing adventurous skills and new opportunities for young people in Stoke-on-Trent.

If your child would like to be part of the adventure, we’re always happy to welcome new members.
